Clubbing Trio.

I miss the days of the clubbing trio! When will we strike again?
Let it shine.

Amazing how a rudely annoying day could end so sweet. :)
Had dinner after the longest day ever with Fernie, who brought me to East Coast to, finally, have bbq-ed chicken wings. And the lovely girl studied with me all evening.
Just got out from an online conversation with girls who I’ve known since Secondary school, and it was truly nice. Just plain nice to talk to people you’ve known since you had braces, wore glasses, had ugly hair. People who actually have been there to stick with you all these while, who like you for who you are.
This entry is for the Guides I’ve known since I were immature, where we would:
1. Drill on Fridays and have activities on Saturadys.
2. Get punished in front of the 32-classroom block under the bridge.
3. Pump till our knees bled.
4. Get TORTURED by all those random seniors.
5. “See that gate over there? Go touch it and come back.”
6. Where BRASSO and KIWI saved our lives.
7. All those fun little proficiency badges. Remember the apple jam?
8. SANDWICH MAKING COMPETITION!!
9. Kb-ing with the scouts about all the random stuff.
10. Kims’ Game!
11. PT. Oh PT.
12. Campfires on Saturdays, where we’d sing our throats hoarse.
13. Friendship dance.
14. Total-defence cheering competition.
15. Illegal camping in school and we’d climb the main gate to go for supper.
16. Black and White Bitch who found immense pleasure in rejecting our proposals.
17. Camping, outdoor cooking, drilling.. the works.
18. Middle of the night FIRE DRILLS!
19. Lettie the OCL!
20. Marching boots. Ouch.
21. Solo walk and ghost stories in the concourse.
22. Solo night!
23. Midnight chats by the lake.
24. Sentry.
25. Bathing at the gym toilet. 5 minutes!
26. Sleeping in classrooms!
27. Tests where we’d cheat.
28. Cheering!
29. Same old brand new you – Am I the only person that remembers this?
30. Guides HQ at Bishan, where we’d terrorise the Mdms there.
31. NDP!!
32. Mdm Joanne :)
33. School anniversaries.
34. Wanton mee from the uncle outside.
35. 7-11!! Where we’d sit there and stone for hours and get chased out.
36. Flag-raising. Goodness, how we moaned when it rained the night before!
37. When Hibiscus Patrol had only 3 members.
38. DAWN. (haha)
39. Febuary 22nd – Thinking Day.
40. Our YA days. Where we’d sit around, do nothing, and collect CCA points.
41. Changing shoes in the train!
42. Singing everywhere we went.
I can’t think of anymore, but those were the days. :)
Thanks for the memories darlings.
I have no paper.
October 3, 2006
You’ll always know when monster comes around when you find that all the A4 sized paper have disappeared, thrown into the dustbin because she has drawn say, ONE fish on the paper and it wasn’t good enough for her standards. Bummer. I have no paper to print my timetable and thus have been reduced to copying it out.
Of which I can never understand why the school administration doesn’t have a fixed LT for a certain lecture, or only have e-Boards at the Atrium, which makes things ultra annoying sometimes. Somebody please enlighten me?
Microecons this semester, together with stats and some thingy that I haven’t read through. Sincerely hope I do actually score this time around. :) The main problem of economics is Scarcity. So two years ago man. Suddenly I miss Artsix, especially Mazlynnah, whose favourite subject was Econs.
“HUH? Econs? What’s that? Can eat?” Oh, can. I suddenly forgot the name of my econs tutor in JC! What was her name again? My friend, that old old old lady who always said, “Stef you have to take care of your body, it’s very weak. Always get stomachache ah.” :) And Hana, who was her ultimate pet. Hor hor Banana?
I actually wanted to go jogging just now, only to be met with dark clouds. Ah, bad weather plans- stay at home and bum around.
I shall tuuuu my way to school now, meeting the two mad Disney characters for lunch.
PS. Hang in there Fern! You’ll make it through the week! As well as you Mr N! Hearts the both of you. :)
Protected: Wake me up when September ends.

weekend
July 24, 2006
Weekends so totally rock my week. It’s how I’ve fallen for weekends all over again since school started, being thrilled by the prospect of days where I don’t have to deal with difficult customers.
Paradox of not working. Feels good without the commitment, but being broke sucks.
Anyway, Saturday was Sailors gathering at Kaiwei’s, in which we had full attendence, except for our vice-captain whom we suspected was dating. Zhong se qing team! :) We had hulluva good time though, even Lorraine, Ensley and Teck came down. Just like the old times.
So the guys have changed for the better. They actually cooked for all of us! HAHA. Unlike in the past where they used to hover behind us, waiting for a chance to nick food from the grill while we chased them around and whine.
Thus, the five of us girls just sat around and waited for food to be served. How nice. Army works wonders. :)
While they have seemed to mature, I suppose their childish streak will always be in them, somewhere, like how SX was climbing up and down the pool fountain and competing with Tat, the horse.
I probably hardly make any sense to people who don’t know my team, but it doesn’t matter. :) As long as I’m happy.
And I am, totally. I miss training with the team. It’s been almost a year, but I still miss my sail, my helm, my boat, the waves, the wind, the trapezing, Uncle James, the yong-zham-de-s, storms, siew-mais, bitching, sucky winds, the in-thing, NSC, Natasha, rope-burns, tans, jerseys, sun-block, tai yang, tell-tales and all things to do with sailing and my sailors.
Cheers to you – Ah Tat, (reluctantly) Khaiwan, SX, QW, KWei, Jemjem, Fern, Kalipook, Cheryl and HELM! :) Not forgetting Teck, Ensley and ever-so-motherly Lorraine.
Did I mention I had a wonderful time again?
:)
