Monster-sitting

July 19, 2006

I was monster-sitting Little Miss Monster herself this afternoon when she asked me a hundred and one questions that I couldn’t answer.

Things like, “Where did Snow White’s evil step-mother buy her mirror?”

I was stunned, thinking, have I ever asked this sort of questions? Even when I was a kid? Or I have I grown old enough to not have such questions in my head anymore?

So I answered, “The market lor!”

Joy and Lilies

Monster and the bouquet of lilies, just to illustrate how big the bouquet was. :)

There’s something else I wanted to blog about, but it has escaped me. I shall come back later.

We all grow older.

So it was Auntie L’s birthday today, we sent her a bouquet of lilies during lunch, which surprised her much, and had dinner together at this place near Sixth Ave.

Went there with Mr N once, their warm chocolate pudding is to die for. We tried the dessert sampler as well, together with some Chocolate Temptation thingy and a warm sundae.

Heavenly. (And calorie packed as well.)

So anyway, here I am gushing over the desserts, not coming to the point that I should be thankful to have such a lovely God-Mum/Auntie, who is probably one of the nicest persons I know, and I’m definitely not kidding.

Maybe I should add that she was a beauty peagent finalist once upon a time. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

To Penny as well, from table 17 (only a selected few would get this), who is coincidentally Mr N’s mum. She texted to thank me for the flowers we sent her as well. Yay.

Lovely.

Time to hit the books for school tomorrow. Oh bother.
